The Water Plus Returns Policy applies to all purchases made in a Water Plus store or online at www.waterplusirrigation.com.au.
The Water Plus Returns Policy does not exclude or replace your rights given under the Australian Consumer Law and regulations.
CHANGE OF MIND
If you have simply changed your mind and you are able to provide a valid receipt, Water Plus may offer you an exchange or refund provided that the merchandise:
· is in saleable condition
· is in the original packaging
· is not subject to the exclusions listed below and the exchange or refund is sought within 30 days of purchase.
If you are unable to provide a valid receipt and/or 30 days has passed since the original purchase date, Water Plus at its absolute discretion reserves the right not to offer an exchange or refund for change of mind. In such cases, Water Plus may, at its absolute discretion, provide you with an exchange to the current value of the merchandise, less a re-stocking charge. The structure of the charge is 20% of the original item value + a $20 flat charge. This fee is non-negotiable and payable prior to acceptance of the returned items by Water Plus.
Water Plus is not required to provide you with a copy of your original receipt to facilitate an exchange, refund, insurance or warranty claim.
Please choose carefully when purchasing the following merchandise as change of mind returns will not be provided on the below merchandise.
· Goods with promotional pricing
· Cut pipe / hose / wire
· Special order products
At the discretion of Water Plus and only where allowable from suppliers, a credit may be issued for items listed as exclusions. However if returns are to be accepted a charge will apply. The structure of the charge is 20% of the original item value + a $20 flat charge. This fee is non-negotiable and payable prior to acceptance of the returned items by Water Plus.
A valid receipt is either an instore register receipt, Gift Receipt or in the instance of an online purchase the Order Confirmation Email or Online Gift Receipt.
If you believe an item is faulty, you may have rights to a remedy under the Australian Consumer Law. These rights are not impacted by the change of mind policy or limited by a defined timeframe. However the Australian Consumer Law does recognise that the relevant time period may vary by product (or service) depending on the nature of the goods (or service), the price paid and any representations made about the goods (or service).
Where you believe an item is faulty, it may be necessary for us to send your goods to the manufacturer or their service agent for it to be assessed within a reasonable period of time. If there is a major failure with the item, you may choose a refund, exchange or repair. If the failure is minor, we will repair the item (or, at our discretion, we may replace the item) within a reasonable time.
Where an item is damaged through misuse or abnormal use, Water Plus cannot provide a refund, exchange or repair, whether the fault is identified by Water Plus, the manufacturer or their service agent.
Water Plus will require satisfactory proof of purchase before providing a remedy under the Australian Consumer Law.
Refunds will be given using your original payment method, except in the following circumstances.
Gift Vouchers are valid for 6 months from the date of issue noted on the front of the Voucher.
Water Plus Gift Vouchers cannot be exchanged for another tender or discount.
GIFT VOUCHER WITH PURCHASE AND BUNDLED ITEMS
Where merchandise is purchased with a Gift Voucher, the Gift Voucher must also be returned (unless otherwise stated). If you are unable to return the Gift Voucher or it is not in saleable condition, the value of any available refund will be reduced by the value of the Gift Voucher.
In the instance of bundle offers, all items within the bundle must also be returned or the value of the unreturned items will be deducted from any available refund.
BONUS GIFT VOUCHER WITH PURCHASE
Where a bonus Gift Voucher is issued at the time of purchase, the bonus Gift Voucher must also be returned with the merchandise to qualify for a full exchange or refund. Where the bonus Gift Voucher has been fully or partially redeemed, the amount redeemed will be deducted from any available refund.
PRIVACY WHEN MAKING A RETURN
Water Plus is committed to protecting your privacy. You may be asked to present photo identification so that we can record your name and verify your signature. Acceptable identification must also include your full name with a future expiry date. For example, Australian Driver’s Licence or Passport.
Please note, when returning merchandise totalling $1,000 or more and requesting a Tax Adjustment Note, your name, address and ABN (if applicable) will be required.
Information collected will be securely stored for a reasonable period of time. It may be used for fraud protection activities and for the purpose of Water Plus research and analysis. It may be disclosed to state and territory departments upon request, as required by law.
